Our menu specialises in game and seafood sourced locally where possible and prepared simply with an every changing menu and specials board.

Our menu remains fresh, changing every 4 months, in-keeping with the seasons, reflecting traditionally available produce from the sea and land at that time.

Additionally, many of our customers eat from our specials board, which changes daily depending on what fruits the sea provides, offering yet more variety to our recognised favourites. Vegetarians are also catered for on our specials board and starters can also be increased in size to provide alternative vegetarian main courses.

Our seafood is delivered daily from Gourdon and Aberdeen fish markets with our meat prepared and delivered daily McWilliams of Aberdeen. clootie4.jpg

King prawns and local partens wrapped in puff pastry with a saffron velouté.

A large, freshly beer battered Ocean Venture fillet with chips & home-made tartare sauce.

Grilled langoustines, garlic & lemon herb butter, crushed potatoes.

Lemon thyme risotto & a Pernod cream sauce.

A rich Flemish stew made with tender chunks of beef, braised long and slow in dark ale with frites.

Barbary Duck

Breast of Barbary duck, three root vegetable puree, orange, juniper & thyme syrup.

North East Pork Belly

Slow roast pork belly, smoked bacon mash, tarragon & Addlestone's cider sauce.

Herb Crusted Scottish Chicken

Crispy strips of Scottish chicken breast, herb risotto, whole grain mustard gravy.

Liver Duo

Pan fried lamb & calves liver with streaky bacon, roasted shallots & red wine jus.

Aberdeen Angus Steaks

Prices are inclusive of VAT at 20% We make changes to our menu every 3 - 4 months. However, due to customer demand, we have chosen to leave some of the more popular choices on the menu.
