The Marine Hotel is situated in the picturesque harbour of Stonehaven. Stonehaven is the gateway to Royal Deeside only 20 minutes drive from Aberdeen or Banchory. 

Travelling south from Aberdeen on the A90 take the 1st turning for Stonehaven follow through the centre of the town through the traffic lights, take a left for the Tollbooth museum. On reaching the harbour turn right along the harbour front. The Marine is the second hotel you come across.

Traveling North from Dundee on the A90 take the 1st turning for Stonehaven after passing the BP filling station on your left take the next right for the Tollbooth museum. On reaching the harbour turn right along the harbour front. The Marine is the second hotel you come across.

Traveling North from Dundee on the A92 coastal route take the 1st turning for Dunnottar Castle at the bottom of the braes turn right for the town centre, after passing the BP filling station on your left take the next right for the Tollbooth museum. On reaching the harbour turn right along the harbour front. The Marine is the second hotel you come across.

Parking can be found around the harbour area along the front, behind the Tollbooth Museum, on the High Street or in the town centre only a 5 minute walk away.

Stonehaven is also serviced by excellent bus and train services.

Now you have arrived why not take time to enjoy Stonehaven centre, a cliff top stroll via Black Hill to Dunnottar Castle or simply soak up the sea air in the harbour area.
